　　本書立足中國改革開放四十年成功經(jīng)驗(yàn)，從總結(jié)成功經(jīng)驗(yàn)的獨(dú)特視角，全面深刻闡述我國實(shí)行改革開放四十年取得舉世矚目的巨大歷史性成就的根本原因，在這些根本性原因中穿插講述改革開放四十年重大歷史決策、重大歷史事件以及獨(dú)具特色的歷史性細(xì)節(jié)，從而總結(jié)提煉中國實(shí)行改革開放四十年何以取得令世人矚目的偉大成就，總結(jié)提煉中國取得改革開放歷史性成就的中國經(jīng)驗(yàn)、中國智慧和中國方案，總結(jié)提煉改革開放為什么是惠及中國乃至世界的偉大實(shí)踐。

　　XIE Chuntao is vice president and professor of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee （also own as the Chinese Academy of Governance）. Since 1988， he has been teaching and researching the CPC history and theories at the School. He was president and editor-in-chief of the school’s publishing arm， head of the CPC History Department， head of the Educational Administration Department， member of the administration committees of both the School and the Academy.
