  朱作言先生研究團隊于20 世紀80 年代初期農業(yè)動物基因工程研究,在1985 年發(fā)表了世界第一篇魚類基因轉移研究文章,享有世界聲譽?!吨熳餮晕募ㄈ?冊)》從該團隊發(fā)表的200 多篇文章中,選取了100 篇編輯成冊,分上卷和下卷出版?!吨熳餮晕募ㄈ?冊)》的主線是基于轉基因魚理論模型的建立、轉基因鯉研制及品系選育、轉植基因功能,以及轉基因魚食用和生態(tài)安全研究。內容共包括7 個部分:第一部分和第二部分建立了轉基因魚研究的完整理論模型,并以此為基礎成功研制轉“全魚”生長激素基因黃河鯉家系,系統(tǒng)揭示了轉植基因的整合、表達和遺傳規(guī)律。第三部分從攝食、代謝、生長、免疫和游泳行為等方面,詳細描述了轉基因黃河鯉與野生黃河鯉的生物學特性。第四部分系統(tǒng)評估了轉基因魚在實驗室及模擬自然環(huán)境條件下的生態(tài)學效應。第五部分系統(tǒng)研究了魚類生長激素對性腺發(fā)育的調控作用、育性控制技術及研制不育轉基因魚的策略。第六部分包括草魚全基因組草圖繪制、草魚病原病毒分子生物學和抗病草魚基因工程育種的基礎研究。第七部分主要以斑馬魚為模型,對魚類基因工程的生物學原理、技術拓展和應用進行了全方位的探討。為了便于廣大讀者閱讀,英文文章后面均附有中文摘要。
